Switzerland is entering what is known as "sustainable finance 3.0". In this now complex market, with its many "shades of green", demands are increasing. With the urgency of climate change, it is no longer enough to invest in companies that are not a problem for the planet: we need to invest in those that have a solution. We are moving from reducing negative impacts to creating positive ones. From selecting investments that promote ESG characteristics, among other objectives, we are moving towards a requirement for impact: clients are looking for companies that have a sustainability or carbon emission objective and are giving themselves the means to achieve it. What role can investors play? What means of action are available to them? What are the requirements of the companies in which they invest?
